He said, “Information shows that many senior level Maoists were killed or seriously injured during this operation, but their companions managed to pull him inside the forest.” Hundreds of Naxalite hideouts have been destroyed during this operation.

At least six security personnel, including a cobra unit officer, were injured in separate incidents of pressure IED blasts. All the injured soldiers are out of danger. He is undergoing treatment in various hospitals. With the latest action, 168 Naxalites have been killed in different encounters in Chhattisgarh so far this year. Of these, 151 were killed in Bastar division, including seven districts including Bijapur. May 31 is a deadline to abolish Naxalites.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had said that to secure the future of the state, it is necessary to eliminate Naxalism. Government will focus here

He said that the state government has launched the ‘Niad Nellanar’ (your good village ‘) scheme, under which the state government is providing 52 schemes of 17 departments and 31 community facilities in villages near security camps.

People’s trust in the government has increased and now the people of Bastar want Naxalism to end. ”
He said that the state government has launched a new surrender and rehabilitation policy called Naxalite Surends/Victim Relief Rehabilitation Policy-2025, which aims to provide more compensation, land and job opportunities to the victims of Naxalite violence and surrendered Naxalites.

Sai said that at the same time emphasis is being laid on creating development and employment opportunities, so that there is no place for Naxalism in Bastar and the Naxalites who surrender do not return to the banned organization.
