The government said that from 1 July 2024 to 1 December 2024, dearness allowance will be increased by 3%. Whereas from 1 January 2025, 5% dearness allowance arrears will be paid. According to the information, the government will pay the arrear amount from 1 July 2024 to 30 April 2025 in 5 equal installments. This installment will come in June, July, August, September and October 2025.
According to the information received from the sources, the government will give a lump sum to the employees who have retired or died after 1 July 2024.
