An encounter between Naxalites and security forces on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border is reported. Sources are being quoted as saying that three soldiers have been sacrificed in the IED blast and three were injured. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
According to the information, there is an encounter with Maoists and soldiers on the hills of Venkatapuram and Edamili in Telangana. IED blast has taken place in Wazedu village in Moolgu district of Telangana. In which three soldiers have been sacrificed and three soldiers are injured. The area where the IED blast has taken place is adjacent to Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
Let me tell you that earlier on May 7, there was an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the forests of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. In which many Naxalites were killed.
