Waqf Amendment Act is in the interest of Muslim society: Chief Minister Sai

Raipur,

The Waqf Amendment Act is not against Muslim society, but in their interest. The combined effort and purpose of all of us should be not to spread any kind of confusion in the society regarding the Waqf law. Everyone should understand the reality and also inform others about it. A public awareness campaign is being carried out across the country regarding the Waqf Amendment Act, and in this episode, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this at the Waqf reform Janajagaran program organized at his residence office today.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Waqf Board Amendment Act has been taken an important step to protect the interests of the Muslim community. He said that the Waqf Board was formed with a very sacred objective, so that Muslim society, especially poor class and Pasmanda Muslims could get benefit. But in the past years, some influential people proved their selfishness by taking advantage of this law, due to which poor Muslims were deprived of their rights.

Mr. Sai said that the role of all the countrymen is necessary in achieving the goal of ‘developed India’ by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. If any class leaves behind, we will not be able to fulfill our resolve.

Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam said that our government worries about the interests of all. The amendments in Waqf laws aim to empower Muslim society. Now an account of each pie of the income of Waqf properties will be kept and this amount will be used to raise the good of the people of the society, their education and standard of living.

On this occasion, MLA Mr. Kiran Dev, Chairman of Waqf Board, Dr. Salim Raj, Principal Secretary, Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development, Mr. Sonamani Bora, CEO of Waqf Board, Dr. S. F. Many enlightened people of Farooqui and Muslim society were present.
