There was a controversy over a question asked during the examination at Rani Durgavati University in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The university asked in the Question paper of BSC Second Year, where is Rani Durgavati’s ‘Tomb’ located? Students and social organizations strongly opposed this question. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has strongly opposed the tomb of Rani Durgavati as a tomb.

What is ABVP allegation?

ABVP has said that the word tomb in Hinduism is not used for a sacrifice site. By doing this, the feelings of Hindus have been hurt.

ABVP has demanded action paper makers, check and action against the Controller of Examinations.

ABVP Secretary Makhan Sharma said that the question asked by the university on Saturday is an insult to Rani Durgavati. There is a university in the name of Rani Durgavati. Rani Durgavati was the heroine who fought against the Mughal ruler And protected his kingdom.

Secretary Makhan Sharma said that the Jabalpur unit of ABVP protested in the campus of Rani Durgavati University over Rani Durgavati’s tomb being called tomb.

What did the university say?

University Vice Chancellor R.K. Verma has responded that action will be taken against those responsible for this negligence. This is a mistake. The Vice Chancellor spoke of avoiding such mistakes in future.
