Big Gaze on top leadership, US Army in shock by order of Defense Minister!

Washington
Taking forward the trump administration’s move to cut employees in US departments, the Defense Minister Pete Hegseth directed the army to cut the posts of its top leadership by 20 per cent. While the Trump administration believes that this will increase efficiency, on the other hand critics are worried that this can cause the army to politicize. Hegseth also directed the ‘National Guard’ to cut the posts of its top leadership by 20 per cent and has asked the army to cut its force by 10 per cent in the posts of ‘General’ and ‘Flag’ officer, which may include an one-star or above or equivalent officer of the Navy.

The deduction is in addition to more than six top general officials, including President Donald Trump or Hegseth, the chief of Joint Chief of Staff dismissed since January, including General CQ Brown Junior. He also fired the army to two women serving as a four-star officer. At that time, Hegseth had said that the cut “shows the President’s wish that there are capable people around him who want to adopt our view on the issue of national security.”

Announcing the deduction on Monday, Hegseth said that he would “eliminate unnecessary positions to make leadership streamlined”. He said that its purpose is to free the army from the “unnecessary bureaucracy levels”. Seth Moulton, a member of the US House of Representatives, said that he sees Hegaseth’s decision as an attempt to politicize the army.
