This time the size of the budget increased from 3.65 lakh crores to 4.21 lakh crores, but the merger of the debt is not taking the name of decreasing. The loan has been done equal to the budget. The worry is that the government’s earnings are as much as the expenditure. That is, savings zero. Now the government is going to take loans again.
Mohan government will take loans for the first time in the current financial year
For the first time in the current financial year, on May 6, 2500-2500 crore (total five thousand crore rupees) will take a loan in two installments. One is going to take a loan for 12 years and the other for 14 years. In the bonds issued for debt, the government has stated the status of its treasure. Financial conditions have been stated stronger, referring to debt and liabilities. The government has also asked for offers from financial institutions for this.
Earnings and expenses
The government is estimated to earns a total of 3,75,340 crores in this financial year through other means including tax. That is, the more you have earned, the more expense it will also be. In such a situation, debt is support for development and functioning.
Total debt on MP increased to 4.21 lakh crores
Earlier, in the financial year ended March 31, the government had taken a total loan of Rs 57 thousand crore, due to which the total debt on Madhya Pradesh increased to Rs 4.21 lakh crore. Explain that loans are being taken by citing development works and promotion of economic activities.
State government has taken a loan of 27 thousand crores in 3 months
In the first 3 months of 2025, the government has taken 27 thousand crore loans. Now by taking a loan of 5000 crores, the loan figure taken this year will be 32000 crores. The new debt will be taken for a period of 12 years.
Dearness allowance of 7.30 lakh MPs of MP increased
Recently, the Mohan government has given a gift to 7.30 lakh officers of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the Mohan government of the state has announced to give 5% dearness allowance to the employees. After which DA has increased from 50% to 55%. CM Mohan Yadan has announced that this increase will be implemented in two installments-3% from July 2024 and 2% additional dearness allowance has been sanctioned from 1 January 2025.
