Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended Chitragupta Prakatya festival held in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium at Medical College, Rajdhani Raipur. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh presided over the program.
Chief Minister Sai congratulated the officials of Chitragupta Organizing Committee and members of Kayastha Samaj for the successful organization of Prakatya Utsav. In the program, the learning and ghazal-free collection book of children including Chitransh Mahotsav Souvenir was released. The talented students of Kayastha society and those who did outstanding work in various disciplines were honored.
Chief Minister Sai said on this occasion that Lord Chitragupta is the god of justice and karma and his message is clear – what will be found as what he does. He said that truth, justice and duty in life are the greatest capital of man and these values make our society and nation strong.
Describing the history of Kayastha society as glorious, the Chief Minister said that this society has made significant contribution in areas like education, writing, administration, justice and culture. He said that his government is determined for the respect and development of all sections of the society and the work of social harmony, protection of cultural heritage and public welfare is in his priority. Wishing Lord Chitragupta’s blessings, the Chief Minister said that his blessings kept giving us inspiration to follow the path of truth.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh congratulated the organizer for a grand event and said that this event will not only give new energy to our cultural consciousness, but it will also familiarize the new generation of its glorious history. Kayastha Samaj members have contributed significantly to the freedom struggle of the country, as well as in various genres including art, literature, music. He remembered the great personalities of the society.
On this occasion, the convenor of the program and President of Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation Sanjay Srivastava also apprised of the activities of the society. On this occasion, the officials of the Organizing Committee and the distinguished citizens of the Kayastha Samaj were present in large numbers.
