A junior doctor working at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the capital committed suicide. The deceased has been identified as Dr. A Ravi (age 26), who was a resident of Andhra Pradesh. It is being told that he hanged himself in his hostel room late at night by hanging himself.
On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and the body was sent for post -mortem. Prima facie the case seems to be of suicide. However, the cause of suicide is not yet known. The police have not received any suicide note from the room. The Amanaka police station is investigating the entire case. The doctor’s colleagues and family members are being questioned.
Information given to family members
According to Azad Chowk Sub Division CSP Aman Jha, on the intervening night of May 3, the doctor was reported to commit suicide. The deceased is a resident of Mehboob Nagar Hyderabad. After informing the family members, the investigation is being done and investigated. The clear cause of self -murder is yet to be ascertained.
