Indian Army got new ‘IGLA-S’ air defense system, enemy drones and jets will no longer survive!

New Delhi
Recently, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has again raised concerns about the security system of the country. At such a time, the Indian Army has increased its strength a big increase. Now the army has a modern weapon that has the ability to kill the enemy’s drone and fighter jet as soon as he fly. Its name is IGLA-S Air Defense System. The Indian Army has received an Igla-S missile from Russia. This missile is a portable air defense system that soldiers can run on their shoulders. That is, it is a man-portable air defense system (manpads). The Igla-S has been designed to drop goals such as drones, fighter jets, helicopters and cruise missiles.

Why is Igla-S? Know its strength
Range: The new Igla-S’s firepower is about 6 kilometers, while the earlier Igla was only 3-4 kilometers effective.

Accuracy: This system is based on ‘lock-on’ technology, that is, track the target and directly attack it.

Last defense line: If this missile also misses the target, the enemy’s attack is fixed. Therefore it is considered as ‘last line of defense’.

Turly and Lighter: Soldiers can easily move it from one place to another, making it possible to deploy immediately in border areas.

You will get benefit in dealing with drones and air threats
The biggest threat in today’s war is – drone attack and border air monitoring. Neighboring countries like China and Pakistan have often been sending monitoring drones near Indian borders. With the deployment of Igla-S, now such dangers can be answered in a few seconds. This system can also destroy and destroy the enemy’s smallest drones.

China-Pakistan shocks, India’s strategic pressure increased
India has to face constant threat on Western (Pakistan) and North (China) borders. In such a situation, the deployment of IGLA-S system has increased the power of the Indian Army on both these fronts.

If a drone or fighter jet crosses the border from Pakistan, IGLA-S may drop it immediately. The monitoring activities conducted by China will also get a strong reply.

Igla-S will be promoted in India itself
Russia’s Rosoboronexport company will now form IGLA-S in India in collaboration with a private defense company in India. This will give the country two big benefits:

Dependence on foreign weapons will be reduced
Self -sufficiency in defense sector will be promoted
Defense in depth strategy will get strength

With the deployment of Igla-S, India will now be able to implement ‘Defense in depth’ i.e. flawful security strategy in a better way. This means that in the event of an attack, security will be present in several layers one after the other, which will neutralize the enemy’s attack.
