A woman police in Raisen district associated with Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, fell victim to SI Love Jihad. Ishtihaq of Bhopal, calling himself Aman Singh, implicated him in love and then got married. By the time the woman came to know about this fraud, it was late.
He lodged a complaint with the police station in February 2025, but his partner kept the matter pressed for three months. The police have arrested the accused when the incidents of gangs who raped and blackmail the gang of raping and blackmailing Hindu girls in Bhopal have been arrested. The woman SI alleges that in the year 2019, she met a young man while posing as a constable in Bhopal.

A year later in 2020, the woman came to know the truth when the real name of the young man in the documents was found in the documents during the registry of a house.
Mentally tortured
There was a dispute between the two, but the woman tried to save her marital life. Later, the behavior of Ishtihak became violent. The woman continued to assault and torture them mentally. On 19 February 2025, the woman lodged a complaint with the Mandideep police station when the harassment increased. Initially, this complaint was recorded only as assault and harassment, but recently sections of the Religious Freedom Act were added in the case.

SP Pankaj Kumar Pandey said that the accused Ishtihaq Ahmed operates a cafe in the Jahangirabad area of Bhopal. The police team arrested him from Bhopal on Friday. A case has been registered against him under fraud, assault and Madhya Pradesh Religious Freedom Act. Apart from this, the police is also investigating all possible aspects.
The woman was living together due to the child
Aubedullaganj SDOP Sheela Surana said that the accused was living with SI and committed domestic violence. Even after the name was revealed, the woman was living with her because of her son, but when the atrocities became unbearable, she lodged a complaint.
