New Delhi
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, tension between India and Pakistan is at its peak. Pakistan fears India’s possible retaliation and because of this it is shocked. He is sometimes raising this issue in the Pahalgam terrorist attack from third party to conduct a fair inquiry and cooperate in it, sometimes in the United Nations Security Council. Pakistan said on Friday that it has the right to call a meeting of the United Nations Security Council at the appropriate time when the tension with India increases with India after the Pahalgam terror attack.
Pakistan’s permanent Representative of Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, at the United Nations, said at a press conference here that all this is happening in the backdrop of the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Ahmed was answering the question whether Pakistan is planning to call a meeting of the Security Council in view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people were killed in this attack. Pakistan is currently a temporary member of the United Nations Security Council and will preside over the UN institution with 15 countries in July.
PAK is harassing India’s fear of retaliation
He said, ‘It is clear that an incident has taken place in Pahalgam, but now the situation that has arisen is a real threat to regional and international peace and security. We believe that the Security Council really has the right to do so. It would be completely appropriate for any member of the council including Pakistan to request a meeting and discussion of the Security Council, so that this serious situation can be considered.
Ahmed said, ‘We have discussed this with the members of the council. We have discussed this with the chairmanship of last month and the month of this month. We are keeping an eye on the situation very closely and we have the right to call a meeting if we feel appropriate. The Pakistani High Commissioner refrained from directly answering the question asked by PTI about the remarks of its Defense Minister Khwaja Asif, in which he said that Pakistan has been doing ‘dirty work’ for the US and Western countries for three decades.
Pakistan has been giving mercy to terrorism for three decades
In fact, in the context of the Pahalgam attack, Sky News anchor Yalda Hakim questioned Khwaja Asif, ‘You admit that Pakistan has a long history of supporting, training and financing these terrorist organizations?’ In response, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Asif had said, “You know that we have been doing this dirty work for the United States and Western countries for about three decades, and Britain is also involved in it.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Bihar on April 24, two days after the Pahalgam terror attack, said, ‘Terrorists and bosses and the conspirators of this attack will be punished with severe punishment even by their imagination. The enemies of the country have not only targeted unarmed tourists, but have dared to attack the soul of India. In a high -level meeting on April 29, PM Modi gave an open exemption to the Indian Army and said that the method, goal and time of India’s reaction to Pahalgam terror attack should be decided.
Stop India, save us; Pakistan cried in UNSC and now preparations for discussion
Amid increasing tension with India, Pakistan has requested US President Donald Trump to intervene on the Kashmir issue and reduce stress. Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, warned that “any wrong step or wrong estimate could lead to a nuclear conflict.” Describing Kashmir as the “world’s most dangerous nuclear flashpoint”, Sheikh has urged Trump to play a decisive role on the issue.
In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Sheikh termed Kashmir as “nuclear flashpoint” and said that President Trump may play an important role in resolving the issue. He said, “It can become an important part of President Trump’s legacy, if they solve this issue by addressing the basic reasons like Kashmir dispute, not by superficial measures.”
Ambassador Sheikh described India’s response as “dangerous and inflammatory” after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that just 10 minutes after the attack, Pakistan was accused of Pakistan. He said, “India did not lose even a minute in accusing and blamed Pakistan without any investigation. We demanded to share the evidence and offered to participate in a fair and transparent investigation, but we did not get any response.”
“Do not ignore the possibility of nuclear war,
The Pakistani ambassador is afraid of India’s possible response. This is the reason why they are pleading in front of other countries to stop India. The ambassador said that the region is a home of more than 1.5 billion people and such war -filled shame is once again making the region “hostage of the mentality of war”. The Pakistani messenger gave a gaid to the jackal saying that “any misunderstanding or wrong decision can turn into a nuclear war – which would be disastrous for this densely populated area.”
He said that threatening to unilaterally stop the water flow of rivers flowing for Pakistan, an open violation of international treaties. He cited the Indus Water Treaty, saying, “This treaty continued even during the wars between India and Pakistan, breaking it is a great disregard of international law.” After the Pahalgam attack, India has suspended the Indus Water Agreement, causing Pakistan to see more. India’s move will cause huge injuries to Pakistan.
Demand for intervention from international community
In the statements of Pakistani envoy, India’s foreign policy was clearly visible. In fact, due to India’s strong foreign policy, most countries consider Jammu and Kashmir to be a part of India and have been avoiding any kind of absurd rhetoric. But Pakistan has been repeatedly pleading with other countries. Sheikh said that whenever tension in the region has increased, the international community initially paid attention, but took out its eyes without a permanent solution. He said, “This time, in view of the global situation, one should take such a step in time which is in the direction of permanent peace and not only a temporary solution.” The world knows that Pakistan has been the most shelter of terrorism. But the Pakistory said that in the last two decades, Pakistan has lost 70,000 to 90,000 people in terrorist attacks.
Pahalgam attack increased tension
Recently, 26 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, most of which were Hindu tourists. This has further increased the tension between the two countries. India has not officially blamed Pakistan for this attack, but Indian intelligence agencies believe that it included Pakistani citizens. After this attack, India has taken a tough stance and spoke of giving “complete operational freedom” to its army, which has increased uneasiness in Pakistan.
