Abhishek Arya of Bhind has earned a bronze medal by waving the country in the junior category of Kaying Canoeing in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The world championship was attended by players from 22 countries.
Radhegopal Yadav, a teenager boat club mentor and state vice -president of the Kayaking Canoeing Association, said that Abhishek, along with his fellow player Sachin in the junior category, did not allow his vote to be behind from the beginning. With the joint efforts of Abhishek and the partner, both these players, who were part of the Madhya Pradesh team, have won a bronze medal for India by performing well.
Bhopal will return on Sunday
Currently Abhishek Arya is the day boarding player of Bhopal Water Sports Academy. His head coach Captain PK Barohi has been a special contribution in Abhishek’s success. Abhishek will return to Bhopal on Sunday. Sports instructor Yadav said that players from countries around the world participated. Abhishek has brought the name of the entire country to the third place by securing votes in the 1000 meter race of K-2.
