Facilities like special train, Seven Star Hotel running on Char Dham Yatra


An important initiative has been taken by Indian Railways to make passengers travel to religious places accessible and convenient. In this sequence, the ‘Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train’ is being operated by the Ministry of Railways, which will give devotees to the pilgrimage centers located in four corners of the country.

This special train will depart from Safdarjung station in New Delhi on 27 May 2025 and will leave on a holy journey of 17 days, in which a total of 8425 km will be covered. Historical and spiritual sites like Mana, Joshimath, Rishikesh, Puri beach, Konark Sun Temple, Dhanushkodi, and Grath Dwarka will also be seen during the yatra during the yatra.

Making this religious journey even more special, the travelers will also visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Varanasi), Bhimshankar Temple (Pune) and Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga (Nashik), which makes this journey very rich in spiritual terms.

Facilities like home will be available in this train

Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train has been made fully air -conditioned, with first AC, second AC and third AC cans available. The train also arranged modern facilities such as dining restaurants, modern kitchens, bath cubals, bio toilets, CCTV cameras, security guards, and foot massage, which will give passengers experience of facilities like home.

This train will be operated by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The package rate prescribed for this trip also includes travel tickets, stagnation in three star hotels, three -time meal per day, Siteciq, Travel Insurance and Tour Manager services. Booking in this train of total 150 seats is being done on the basis of first come, first served. The booking process can be done through the IRCTC website and portal.

Mr. Dilip Kumar, Executive Director (Information and Publicity) of Indian Railways said that such religious and cultural sites are being added under the “Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train” scheme, which are the center of faith of the people of the country. This initiative is not only promoting tourism, but common travelers are also getting an opportunity to travel in an organized and safe manner.
