Bhatapara-Baloda Market
An accident occurred during the procession in Heri village of Baloda Bazar district. The driver of the DJ vehicle involved in the procession started getting down from the car in a state of intoxication. During this time the vehicle was left in an unsafe state.
Some children sitting in the vehicle unknowingly put the gear of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to move forward and entered the crowd of baraatis. In this accident, about 10 to 12 people were seriously injured after being hit by a DJ vehicle.
There was chaos on the spot after the incident. All the injured were immediately admitted to Baloda-Bazar District Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The local police is investigating the case and preparations are being made for action regarding the negligence of the DJ driver.
