He said that the objective is very clear, if we have perennial kardia, then we will have the existence of big rivers. Minister Patel attended the water Ganga enrichment program at Kishan Talaiya in Damoh district on Thursday. On this occasion, Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Religion Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, MP Damoh Rahul Singh Lodhi, MLA and former Minister Damoh Jayant Kumar Malaiya, MLA Hata Mrs. Umadevi Khatik, and other public representatives, collector Sudhir Kumar Kochhar, officer-employees, citizens were present.
Minister Patel said that the water Ganga enhancement campaign will run from 30 March to 30 June. It was resolved to connect 32 rivers last year, this time there is a resolution, Narmada Basin, Godavari Basin, Ganga Basin in Madhya Pradesh is the origin of any river going in it in Madhya Pradesh, the goal is to reach it. He said that if we take water directly from the river, then there is not a single bug water left and later we fill the tubewells for cattle. He said that water conservation work will be done with public participation, the government is leading it.
Minister Patel said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s desire is that Narmada Parikrama has been included as a cultural abstract heritage. Narmada Parikrama should also be included in the list of UNESCO in the coming time. Damoh MP Rahul Singh Lodhi said that Jal Ganga Vandhan Abhiyan is an innovative initiative of the state government. We all have to join this initiative. MP Lodhi said that Minister Patel is going to different districts in different places across the state and the rivers which used to give water for 12 months, but due to some reasons, stones, or we made drains, bridges, culverts, made a stop dam, and due to many other types of activities, the rivers that were now, now, their water is eliminated in 6 months, 5 months. MP Lodhi thanked Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Minister Patel for the initiative of water conservation.
