A major accident took place on Friday in Dal Lake in Jammu and Kashmir. Shikara, full of tourists, overturned here, due to which many people fell into the lake. As soon as the accident happened, there was a scream among the people and the police was informed about the incident. A rescue campaign is being conducted on behalf of the police team and the local people. It is being told that this accident happened due to strong winds.
Dal Lake located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir is known for its natural beauty and Shikara ride. Shikara is a boat made of traditional wood of Kashmir, called the soul of Dal Lake.
It is decorated with colorful umbrellas, carved designs and comfortable gaddies. Shikara’s ride on the calm water of the lake provides unique experience. The snowy peaks of the Himalayas, green gardens and floating houses offer magnificent views.
