PM Modi gifts 8900 crore to Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday gave a gift of Rs 8,900 crore to the people of Kerala. During this, he dedicated the ‘Vizhinajam International Dipavat Multipurpose Capital’ constructed at a cost of thousands of crores to the nation. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was also present during this period. This ambitious project of the Government of Kerala has been developed by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) under public-private partnership.

Addressing the people, PM Modi said that the world’s big cargo ships will be able to come here easily. Till now 75% of India’s transpirations used to be done on the ports outside the country, it has caused a lot of damage. This situation is going to change now. Now the country’s money will be useful for the country. The money that went out, now he will bring new opportunities for the people of Kerala and Vizhinjam.

Earlier, he said that today is the birth anniversary of Lord Adi Shankaracharya. Three years ago, in September I had the privilege of going to his birthplace area. Adi Shankaracharya awakened the nation’s consciousness by establishing monasteries in different corners of the country after leaving Kerala. I salute them on this sacred occasion.

He said that our India has seen thousands of years of prosperity before slavery. At one time, Major shares were from India in global GDP. The thing that used to make us different from other countries at that time was sea capacity, the economic activity of our Port City. Kerala contributed a lot in this.
