Bhopal Mandal is constantly in the public awareness spread with the aim of spreading innovation efforts of Indian Railways to the people. In this sequence, a unique national competition has been organized by the Railway Board, in which ordinary citizens have been invited to design a new digital watch for Indian Railways.
Indian Railways has planned to set up a uniform digital clock at all railway stations across the country. In this direction, for the first time a national level competition is being organized for the design of the clock, which is a golden opportunity for the general public, school students and college/university students. Participants have to present the design through online medium from 1 May to 31 May 2025.
Participants will have to create a high-resolution design without watermark
Railway Board Executive Director (Information and Publicity) Mr. Dilip Kumar informed that the design has been invited to three categories – school students (up to 12th standard), college/university student and professional. The superior design selected will be awarded the first prize of ₹ 5 lakhs, including all the categories. Also, in each of the three categories, five-five consolation prizes will be given as ₹ 50,000.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Saurabh Kataria said that this competition is a motivational effort showing the modern thinking and public participation of the time management of Indian Railways. Citizens, students, designers and artists of Bhopal division take advantage of this opportunity and have the distinction of giving a new identity to ‘time’ with Indian Railways.
