Supreme Court refuses to hear PIL related to Pahalgam terror attack

New Delhi

There is anger over the Pahalgam terror attack across the country at this time. Meanwhile, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court demanding a judicial inquiry into this attack, which the Supreme Court has refused to hear. According to the report of the news agency PTI, the Supreme Court reprimanded the petitioner and said that judges are not experts of investigating terrorism cases.

The Supreme Court reprimanded those who filed a PIL and questioned whether they want to demar the morale of the security forces? They were asked not to bring such issues to the judicial sector. The Supreme Court also said during the hearing that every citizen of the country is united to fight terrorism in this difficult time.

According to the information, the Supreme Court strongly criticized the lawyers who filed a PIL demanding the formation of the Judicial Commission to investigate the Pahalgam terror attack. During the hearing, Justice Suryakant and Justice N. The bench of Kotishwar Singh said, “Be responsible for you. It is something for you to do this way… Please do not do this. Since when a retired High Court or Supreme Court judge has become an expert to investigate such issues? We are not listening to anything.”

Justice Suryakant further said, “This is an important time when every citizen of the country is joining hands to fight terrorism. Do not pray that someone’s morale falls. See the sensitivity of the case.”

‘Want to drop the morale of security forces’
The bench said, “In this important time, every citizen of the country has joined hands to fight terrorism. Do you want to put the morale of the security forces by filing such a public interest litigation. Do not bring such issue to the judicial sector.”

The petitioner Fateh Kumar Sahu and others were asked to withdraw the PIL. The Supreme Court told the petitioners that they Understand the sensitivity of this issue and do not make any such appeal in the court, which will make the morale of the security forces fall.

‘Don’t ask to pass the order’
The bench told one of the petitioners, “You are asking the retired Supreme Court judge to investigate. They are not an expert of investigation, but they can only give decisions and decide on an issue. Don’t ask us to pass the order. You want to go where you want to go, go. Better is better that you go back.” In the PIL, the Center and the Jammu and Kashmir administration demanded instructions to ensure the safety of tourists.

Santosh Jagdale of Maharashtra was also killed in the terrorist attack. Jagdale went to visit Pahalgam with his wife and daughter. There was also a female relative. The terrorists released the three women.

Jagdale’s daughter Asavari had told the news agency PTI- we were a group of five people. It also included my parents. We were in Basaron Valley near Pahalgam, when the sound of firing was heard. Saw some people wearing police clothes are firing bullets.

Asavari said, ‘We all hid in a nearby tent. 6-7 other people also arrived. We all lay down on the ground to avoid firing, first it felt that it was an encounter between terrorists and security personnel.

Then a terrorist came to our tent. He asked my father to come out. Also used some wrong words for PM Modi. Then he asked my father to read an Islamic verse (maybe Kalma). When they could not read, they were shot three bullets, one on the head, one of the ear and in a back. My uncle was next to me. The terrorists shot him four to five bullets.
