A case of reciting (Stops) Namaz (NAMAZ) has been reported by stopping the bus (on) bus while on duty by a government bus (on) while on duty by a government bus in Heveri district of Karnataka. The Karnataka Transport Department has ordered an inquiry after the video of the incident went viral on social media.
This action of the driver caused inconvenience to the passengers and some passengers filed a complaint. The incident is on 29 April. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus was going from Habballi to Haveli. In the viral video, the driver is seen sitting on a seat inside the bus and offering Namaz. The video shows that the driver is completely absorbed in Namaz, while some passengers are watching him. Traffic on the road outside was running normally. Passenger response
Some passengers present in the bus recorded the incident in their mobile phone and shared it on social media. The video of Mulla reciting prayers has now gone viral. Passengers say that their journey was delayed by stopping the bus in the middle, causing them inconvenience. Some passengers complained to the officials of the Transport Corporation.
Transport Minister’s statement
Taking cognizance of the incident, Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy wrote a letter to the manager of the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) and ordered an inquiry. In his letter, he said, “Employees working in public service have to compulsorily follow certain rules and regulations.
Every person has the right to follow his religious practices, but it should not be done during duty time. It is objectionable to stop the bus by stopping the bus in the middle way with passengers. ” According to a senior official of the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), 58 -year -old Mulla was seen offering prayers two days ago.
Officials say they will investigate the authenticity of the video and all aspects of the incident. Appropriate action will be taken on the basis of complaints of passengers. After the incident went viral, there has been a sharp debate on this issue on social media. Some people have demanded strict action, calling the driver’s work unfair.
