Police officials said that in such a situation the Chennai police has started an exercise to install security robotic machines called ‘Red Button Robotic Cop’ for emergency police assistance. These will work in places where women and children gather in large numbers. In those areas where incidents of crime happen. In the first phase, arrangements have been made to install them at 200 places in Chennai.
Red button – This police machine called Robotic Cop can monitor and control the 24 -hour position at 360 degrees from a distance of several meters. It not only records a video of events happening, but also records voices.
Similarly, if any person, whether she is a woman, is in danger, then she will have to press the button on this machine. This will make an emergency call alarm. Due to this, the nearby police will immediately come to the area. Apart from this, this machine also has the facility to communicate with the people trapped in danger and the police. It also has state -of -the -art facilities including microphone facility and GPS facility.
By pressing the red button on this machine, the person in danger or any other person on his behalf will immediately send information to the police. The special thing is that it will play a loud voice and play an alarm. Due to this, people nearby can also come for help.
This device has such facilities so that people trapped in danger can directly contact the police control room through video calls. The patrolling police can keep an eye on what is happening at the scene. You can take action immediately and start an investigation based on the footage recorded in the camera.
