The Chief Minister said that special attention will be given to the smooth traffic system in both metropolitan areas.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the process related to the development of Bhopal-Indore Metropolitan areas proposed for strong economy and proposed for strong economy should be completed and should make an action plan in view of the possibilities of economic development in these areas. He said that special attention will be paid to smooth traffic system in both metropolitan areas. For this, all agencies related to the scheme should be coordinatedly prepared an action plan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a meeting regarding the formation of the proposed metropolitan area in the state at Samattva Bhawan (Chief Minister’s residence). Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma, Minister of State Urban Development Mrs. Pratima Bagri, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajaura and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that planned development of land in the metropolitan sector should be ensured. Encourage investors from now on to increase industrial and commercial activities in the region. In view of the future in these areas, special attention should also be paid to the economic corridor, road transport as well as rail transport. He directed the officials to complete all the proceedings related to it within a certain time limit.
Two Metropolitan Area Dewas-Sehore districts will also join each other
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the initiative to form two metropolitan areas in the state will provide support in the overall development of areas between Indore and Bhopal. By connecting both metropolitan areas, a vast area of the state will become an example of coordinated and integrated development. The suggestions received from public representatives in this regard will also be included in the implementation. He said that in the past too, sessions of discussion with public representatives have been held for both metropolitan areas.
In the meeting, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that special attention will have to be paid to the green belt to preserve his heritage in the development of these areas and environmentally. He said that with the formation of Indore -Bhopal Metropolitan area, the vision of the Economic Corridor can be completed. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that in the implementation of the scheme, we will have to do initial planning on basic facilities related to the semi-arbon region.
Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Shukla told by presentation that the first metropolitan area is being made by mixing Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar. The second Metropolitan Area is being made by mixing Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Biaora (Rajgarh). He informed that preparations will be completed before the upcoming Legislative Assembly session to complete the necessary statutory process related to this.
