Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma attended the grand social conference of Mahara (Jharia) society held in village Nawagaon of Lohara development block today. The Deputy Chief Minister appreciated the contribution of Mahara Samaj by wishing everyone. He said that unity, hard work and rich cultural traditions of Mahara society are a source of inspiration for the entire state. He assured that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to all -round development of every section of the society.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to provide equal opportunities to every section of the society. He said that the state government is running several effective schemes in the field of development of education, health, employment and infrastructure. Referring to the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme, the Prime Minister’s Tribal Justice Emperor (PM Janman), self -employment schemes for youth and women empowerment programs, he said that through these schemes, the benefits of development are being extended to the last person of the state. He said that the priority of the government is that no eligible person should be deprived of the benefits of these schemes.
The Deputy Chief Minister inspired members of Mahara Samaj to move forward, giving the highest priority to education. He said that education can make society aware, strong and self -sufficient. Only educated society is conscious of its rights and can play an active role in development.
He inspired the youth to make their future bright by joining government skill development programs. He said that in order to promote self -employment and entrepreneurship, many schemes are being run by the state government, by taking advantage of which youth can become self -sufficient. In the program, the Deputy Chief Minister also emphasized on preserving the cultural heritage of Mahara Samaj and conveying it to the next generation. He said that with social unity, cooperation and positive thinking, we can make Chhattisgarh a strong and prosperous state. Various public representatives, a large number of senior citizens, youth and women were present in the program.
