Tahwwur Rana went to Kerala too
During interrogation, Tahwwur Rana also confessed that he had gone to Delhi and Mumbai besides Kerala. When the officials asked the reason, Rana said that he had gone to Kerala to meet his knees. He has also made the names and address of those experts available to the agencies. Sources say that a team of Mumbai Crime Branch may soon leave Kerala to confirm Rana’s information.
Rana looked very calm during interrogation
An official said that Tahavvur Rana is a very trend criminal. Even though he may have been older, but he answers the questions asked without panic and tries to mislead many times. Not only this, when there is a time of Namaz during interrogation, he tells the interrogator that he has to offer prayers for 15 minutes and during this time he should not be disturbed. This attitude of Rana makes agencies realize his mental strength and training.
How to bring India to India from America
It was not easy to bring Tawwur Rana, a prominent accused in the 26/11 attacks to India. Rana made several legal efforts in the US to avoid extradition. He even filed an Emergency application in the US Supreme Court. But despite all the efforts, when all his petitions were dismissed, his extradition could be possible. The teams of NIA and NSG jointly brought him to India from Los Angeles via a special aircraft. In this entire process, India’s Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Home Affairs played an important role with American agencies. The NIA coordinated with the US FBI and the Department of Justice for many years for Rana’s extradition.
The story of 26/11 attack which shook the world
Recall that on 26 November 2008, ten terrorists attacked places like Taj Hotel, Oberoi Trident, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Nariman House in Mumbai. 166 people were killed and hundreds were injured in this terrorist attack.
