Handle Islamic Group Hifazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has threatened Mohammad Yunus to do the same as Sheikh Hasina. Hifazat-e-Islam is adamant against implementing reforms for women. It has said that if the interim government of Bangladesh goes ahead to implement the anti -Islam proposals of the reform commission of Women’s Affairs, then their fate will also be done as former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Anti -Quran told the proposals of the Commission
The leaders of Hifazat-e-Islam condemned the proposals and said that they were directly opposed to the Quran and Sunnah. The protecting leader seeking to abolish the reform commission of Women’s Affairs, announced that the group would hold a collective rally at Suharwardi Udyan in Dhaka on 3 May. The Islamic group also organized a protest rally and procession in the ciller inside Chittagong on Friday.
Threatened to make Sheikh Hasina like Hasina

Fundamentalists announce against Yunus
In addition, another radical Islamic political party, Khilafat Majlish, warned that they would launch a major movement if the commission’s proposals were implemented. The party criticized the Reform Commission and demanded to end it. Khilafat Majlish said, “The commission was formed by a group of atheists and a group of Western supporters.” Speaking at a protest rally at the gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka, party general secretary Ahmed Abdul Kadar alleged that the commission was formed by a group of atheists and Western supporters, whose main goal is to weaken the religious and family values of Bangladesh ‘.
He said, ‘The Commission has proposed a similar family law for women of all religions-including marriage, divorce, heritage and maintenance. It is directly against the Quran and Sunnah and is a strong attack on the faith of Muslims. We will never accept such anti -Islam activities. ‘
