On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a mining monitoring system is being developed using Ortificial Intelligence (AI) for the prevention of illegal mining storage and transportation. Under this system, the mine area has been demarcated by geo tagging of all the approved 7502 mines of the state. Illegal mining and storage in the state will be monitored with the help of satellite image and remote sensing technology.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this system will be able to detect illegal mining outside the mine area. Under this, alerts will be sent to the state and district administration by analyzing the satellite images received continuously at a certain time interval. The case will be registered by the regional staff by filing a report on the portal or mobile app after testing and inspecting the mobile app. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the project to detect the actual excavated quantity from the volumetric analysis by surveying the mine or outside it is also under process.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that new technology for the prevention of illegal transport of minerals is being set up all over the state based on AI. 41 such places have been identified in the state, from where the vehicles transporting minerals are the highest arrival. Rail Tail Corporation has been selected as a service provider through tender to install a check-gate. He said that e-checkgates have been installed at 4 places around Bhopal as a pilot project. Command and control centers in Bhopal at the state level and district level command centers have been set up at the district level at the state level. Verifocal camera in e-checkgate, RFID There are provisions to check vehicle engaged in mineral transport with the help of reader, automatic number plate reader.

Web portal (e-mineral) has been created by NIC to online the activities of the department under information technology in the state. The e-mineral portal has been linked with the portal of the Transport Department. With this, the lesser/transporters can register online vehicles on the e-mineral portal to transport minerals. Under Digital India, the department has successfully implemented the services of the online transportation passage (E-TP) for transporting minerals from the e-mineral portal. Under this system, any lesser can get E-TP after paying royalty and other amount. Provision has been made for online registration of vehicles attached to the transport of minerals.

Online e-TP services have been implemented through e-mineral portal in 55 districts of the state. Positive results of this system are being achieved. Also, information about illegal mining, transport and storage is being obtained as MIS report. With the implementation of E-TP system, online royalty is being paid by the lessee. This has also fulfilled the intention of cashless trunction. E-registration of vehicles to be transported minerals has been made mandatory for illegal mining, transportation, storage of minerals. Under the Ease of Doing Business, a system of depositing various applications through online e-mineral portal has been implemented. Information about mineral exploration and mines is being made available to the common man by the departmental portal.

Various processes are being simplified under the new portal e-mineral 2.0 good governance and Ease of Doing Business. The new portal e-mineral 2.0 is being developed by the department to provide various services related to the department from single winds. Under this, online arrangements will be provided for submission of applications and resolving it. Various services can be made available from mobile app to public and leasers on mobile. Online platforms will also be made available to solve the problems of leasers and citizens.
