CM Mamta’s big announcement for Pahalgam victims, announced to give Rs 10 lakh to the families of the deceased

The Bengal government will provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family of three tourists of the state killed in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced this on Saturday. Mamta said that the state government will also give jobs to the dependent on demand from the victim’s family.

Mamta along with this also announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family of Para Commando Havildar Jhanu Ali Sheikh in the Indian Army, a resident of Nadia district of Bengal, who sacrificed an encounter with terrorists on Thursday in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.

10 thousand rupees monthly pension to Bitan’s parents
Mamta also announced a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 to the elderly parents of Kolkata officer involved in the dead of Pahalgam terror attack. Also, in view of their poor health, the state government will also provide them with health companions. Mamta said that out of the financial assistance of 10 lakhs, five lakh passed parents will be given to his wife. Mamta assured that the state government is with the relatives of the dead in this hour of crisis.

26 tourists were killed by terrorists
It is known that 26 tourists were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam on 22 April. Three people are from Bengal. The dead of Bengal were identified as Bitan Adhikari, resident of Vaishnavaghata Patuli in Kolkata, Sameer Guha of Behala Sakher Bazar and Manish Ranjan Mishra, resident of Jhalada in Purulia district. Bitan officials were IT professionals in America. Sameer Guha was a central employee while Manish Ranjan was an officer of the intelligence department (IB).
