Telugu actor Vijay Devarakonda came as the chief guest at the pre-release event of Tamil cinema superstar Surya’s romantic action drama film ‘Retro’. Vijay, along with the film’s starcast and crew, made his presence felt at this grand ceremony held in Hyderabad on Saturday night. During this, he recently expressed displeasure over the terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to the countrymen to unite.
Victory statement over Pahgam terror attack
Vijay Devarakonda strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahgam. 26 tourists were killed in Bisran Valley (Mini Switzerland). The attack took place on religious grounds. Christians and Hindu tourists were targeted.
Vijay said that Kashmir is a part of India. Kashmiri is our own. There is a need to stop people from wandering in the name of religion. What will they achieve by doing this?
He spoke in Telugu and English and said that two years ago I shot ‘Khushi’ in Kashmir. I have very good memories with the people there. There should be no confusion about Kashmir. It is part of India.
Target on Pakistan
Vijay also made a sharp comment on Pakistan’s situation. He said that Pakistan is not able to provide basic facilities like electricity and water in its country.
What will they come to do here?
India does not need to attack Pakistan, because the people there are plagued by their government. He himself will stand against his government. He linked the methods of terrorists to the 500-year-old tribal behavior and said that India would have to unite and move forward.
Emphasis on education and unity
