A candle march was taken out against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad against Pahalgam terror attack. AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Congress leader Salman Khurshid and many other leaders have attended this Protest. Talking about supporting the Center in dealing with the situation after the terrorist attack, Chief Minister A Revant Reddy requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a befitting reply to Pakistan and terrorists. He said, “Strict action should be taken, even if it means mixing PoK in India.”
Revanth Reddy, who is leading the candle light rally in protest against the terrorist attack, said, “Decisive action is needed by the central government to prevent incidents like Pahalgam.”
He reminded that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee compared the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to Devi Durga for the construction of Bangladesh in 1971.
‘No time for agreement, a befitting reply…’
CM Reddy said, “You (PM Modi) remember Durga Mata, take action, whether it is an attack on Pakistan or any other measure. Today steps should be taken against Pakistan. It is not time to compromise, should be given a befitting reply. Must give a befitting reply. Go ahead, we will stand with you. 140 crore Indians are with you.”
Reddy said, “Divide Pakistan into two parts, mix POK in India. We will stand with you. You are a devotee of Durga Mata. Remember Indira ji.”
Speaking in front of the statue of Indira Gandhi, Reddy also said that the Telangana government has expressed condolences to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid, Telangana minister, former cricketer and Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin and other leaders were present on the occasion. International representatives who participated in the two -day ‘Bharat Summit’ organized by the Congress government in Telangana also attended the candle rally.
Meanwhile, protests took place against Pahalgam terrorist attack at many places in the state. Asaduddin Owaisi distributed black straps in a mosque before Friday prayers and requested people to wear it in protest against the Pahalgam terror attack.
Party sources said that Owaisi also wore black strips and distributed them to a mosque in Shastriapuram. Muslim youth protested at the historic Charminar against the terrorist attack after Friday prayers. Here the Muslims of Begum Bazar closed their shops and attended a peaceful rally, while Malkajgiri was also protested.
