Singrauli
The then light Patwari Udit Narayan Sharma of Jhaprahwa, who was involved in fraud of Rs 40 lakh after the registry and nomination of the land through fake death certificate in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested by the police directly. Retured Patwari is a resident of Bada village in Sidhi district.
Police had already arrested two out of a total of five accused in the case. Two accused are still absconding, the police are also searching for them. A reward of 20 thousand rupees was also kept for the arrest of the accused.
In the year 2023, the land was renamed in a fake manner through fake death certificate of the real land owner Vanshilal Mallah of Araji No. 76/1 of Jhaprahwa village of Chitrangi tehsil, whose complaint was made by Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, a resident of Khatai, in Kotwali. Patwari, along with the other four persons, prepared a fake death proof of the land owner and instead of real, the registry of 13.6700 hectares of land was made by the applicant and his wife for Rs 40 lakh.
Following the complaint of the victim, the police had registered a case against 5 accused under other sections including fraud. Two accused have been arrested a year ago.
