A closed primary school building at Lalipur intersection has been encroachedlessly encroached. The main gate of this building, which was once the education, sports and prayers of children, has been illegally occupied and gate and seats have been installed there. Now the situation is that permission has to be obtained from the occupiers first for entry into the government building.
According to the information, this building is currently under the District Education Center and according to departmental information, it is being used as a warehouse. It is said that this school was closed a few years ago due to technical reasons. But by taking advantage of the ignoring of the department, this building has now become the center of personal selfishness. Some people say that the said place belongs to the temple trust, so that the possession has been purchased and done there, now two types of questions can be answered only after investigation.
When the SDEO was discussed in this case, he expressed ignorance of the information of the occupation and said that action will be taken soon. The question arises that if the department was vigilant, this possession was not possible.
Currently, buildings are required for several government offices including the Anganwadi center in the city. If this building was handed over to any such work, then this situation would not have been created today.
This case not only highlights departmental negligence, but also shows how serious the departments concerned about the safety of government properties. It remains to be seen how much readiness the department shows in removing illegal possession or it will also be put on cold storage like other cases.
