Notices were given to 90 houses for the new Collectorate building in Professor Colony of Bhopal city. The collector questioned this on the previous day, in which it was told that those who gave notice are vacant. There is a government house which is very dilapidated. No one lives here, but it is allotted. Notices have been pasted on these.
Significantly, MP Alok Sharma took objection to the notice issued. Residents are resentment for the issuance of notices to vacate the house even before the tender is issued, MP Alok Sharma has expressed his displeasure with Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh for issuing notice to those living in these houses.
Professor Colony Resident Association also became active in the case. Tribhuvan Mishra of the Sangh said that he will reach the Housing Board on Tuesday and submit a memorandum to the high officials. MP Sharma probably asked to decide a meeting of public representatives with the concerned administrative officers on Wednesday or Thursday. There are a total of 149 houses here. Many offices are to be shifted

Housing Board advocate Shantanu Saxena said that NGT judge SK Singh and Expert Member Afroz Ahmed have canceled the Citizens Forum’s petition by accepting the arguments of the Housing Board. The NGT has also uploaded its order on its website.

Circuit house and minister bungalows along with Professor Colony are to be shifted to new collectorate and some other offices here. This work will be done under the Redemption Project. There have been meetings of PS Revenue about this. After this the proposal has been approved.
