Bhopal AIIMS, the capital of Madhya Pradesh and Jodhpur AIIMS located in Rajasthan, are going to work for the identity and prevention of cancer. AIIMS Bhopal has gained efficiency in an AI based screening of cancer. It will also be used in Jodhpur AIIMS. This will make the diagnosis of cancer more accurate and widely accessible.
This technique is also capable of detecting cancer at the initial stage in patients with unique symptoms. AIIMS Director Prof. Ajay Singh says that by making cancer screening fast and more accessible, many can save many lives in far flung and backward areas.
Will develop top centers
The two AIIMS together want to develop a top center for cancer care. These centers will be helpful in treating cancer in cities like Tier 2.
Name is given snowflake model
AIIMS has developed the model of cancer treatment. She is named Snowflake Model. It will be associated with Ayushman Bharat Health and Welfare Centers (AB-HWC), National Cancer Grid (NCG) and Hub-S-Spoke models.
