Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the sale of government assets is not the only option. Better use of assets should be ensured in the interest of governance. He said that government assets should be welcomed so that they can be upgraded and developed as per the requirement. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the Department of Public Promotion Management in the Ministry. He said that government assets should also be associated with large development projects so that the government also benefits such assets. It would be better to adjust such assets through rationalization. He said that the Department of Public Promotion Management should not take a decision on the exclusion or auction of assets alone. Revenue, religious, law and legislative department should coordinate and resolve the cases of assets.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister Office Dr. Rajesh Rajaura, Additional Chief Secretary Public Promotion Department Anirudh Mukherjee, Principal Secretary Finance Manish Rastogi, Secretary and Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade and senior officials of Public Promotion Management Department.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that innovation should be made in the management of public assets. Outside the state, the assets owned by governance should be managed by priority. He said that the government assets present in good location should be planned in the interest of governance as much as possible. For this, a subtle action plan should be made duly implemented. If a legal opinion is required on any issue, then take further action by taking opinion from the law and legislative department. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it can be considered to give the property present in the good location to the Public Works Department.
It was informed in the meeting that from the formation of the Public Promotion Management Department, 655 public assets have been recorded on the departmental portal. In this, 471 assets have been recorded by the districts and 184 by various departments. In the total assets recorded, 505 assets have been refunded to the district/department and 101 assets were managed, 48 assets were managed. The proceedings of management of an asset are under process.
