The cabinet meeting was held in the ministry on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The cabinet has decided to provide financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of poor families under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana. In this scheme, financial assistance will be provided for the marriage of those daughters if the girl and the girl live in the life below the parent line. Their BPL Verification on the portal will be mandatory. Divisional wedding and Nikah Sammelan Calendar will be organized annually by announcing the division.
Out of Rs 55 thousand per girl in the Chief Minister Kanya Marriage and Nikah Yojana, the amount of Rs 49 thousand will be given to the bride and the remaining 6 thousand rupees will be provided to the concerned body for organizing a mass wedding ceremony. The assistance amount will be provided for the expenditure of Rs 49 thousand Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and the remaining 6 thousand rupees will be provided for expenditure on the arrangements for organizing.
The minimum number of marriages included in the mass marriage conference held in the division -wise districts will be determined by 11 and a maximum number of 200 couples. In the scheme, the applications received in mass marriage/nikah conferences will be scrutinized at the body level as per the pre -civic level. E-KYC, the base of the bride and groom on the eligible/ineligible and overall portal, will be mandatory. Trying to make the economic benefit from the government to be meaningful for mass marriage programs, the support of the rich and competent people of the society will be obtained by ensuring participation of public representatives and other social institutions in the event.

The Council of Ministers provided a principle approval of Rs 145 crore for the new scheme “Development of Buffer Areas of Tiger Reserve” from the financial year 2025-26 to 2027-28. In this scheme, various works will be done in sensitive areas in buffer areas.
In this new scheme, chainlink facing will be constructed in sensitive areas in buffer areas. Necessary steps will be taken for the safety and fire security of wildlife. The pasture and water sources will be developed. Wildlife will be treated and health tests. Training will be provided for skill upgradation of citizens. It is noteworthy that the number of tigers in buffer areas adjoining 9 tiger reserves from Madhya Pradesh has increased from 526 to 785 in the last 4 years.
