Chief Minister will meet textile and steel industry veterans in Mumbai

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will attend two prestigious national events of textiles and steel industry held in the country’s financial capital Mumbai on 23 and 24 April. Chief Minister Shri Sai will present the new industrial policy of the state, the possibilities of investment and infrastructure development to industrialists and policy makers across the country on these occasions. These events will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Goregaon, Mumbai.

First day: Dialogue with investors in textile sector – 23 April
Chief Minister Shri Sai will participate in the CMAI Fab Show on 23 April, which is organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). The show is a major platform of veterans associated with the country’s textile industry, where prestigious representatives associated with production, export and branding are involved. The Chief Minister will share information about special facilities, incentives and investment opportunities for the textile industry in the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh from this platform. During this time there is also a possibility of signing of investment agreements (MUS) with some major companies.

Second day: Chhattisgarh will be presented in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi – 24 April
Chief Minister Shri Sai will attend the inauguration ceremony of India Steel 2025 on 24 April as a special guest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join through video conferencing in this program. On this occasion, the Chief Minister Shri Sai will highlight the infrastructure, innovation, and long -term plans developed for the steel industry under the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh.

On this day, Chhattisgarh round table meeting will also be organized, in which the Chief Minister will hold direct talks with potential investors. In this meeting, topics like industrial clusters, logistic support, single window clearance system, and favorable labor policy will be discussed in detail.

New Chhattisgarh will reflect in state pavilion
The Chief Minister will also visit the Chief Minister Shri Sai Chhattisgarh State Pavilion, where the state’s industrial infrastructure, policy encouragement, and multidimensional opportunities for investment will be found. This will play an important role in attracting pavilion investors towards Chhattisgarh.

Dialogue with media – at Bombay Exhibition Center
The Chief Minister will communicate with the media at the Bombay Exhibition Center at 1 pm on 23 and 24 April. They will share information about the major objectives of this visit, the characteristics of the state’s new industrial policy and the efforts being made by the government to attract investment.
