Former Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash was killed on Sunday. He was found dead in his house. The body of former IPS officer Om Prakash was recovered in a blood -stained condition.
Speaking on the matter, Bangalore City Police said, “Former Karnataka DGP Om Prakash, a 1981 batch IPS officer was murdered in HSR layout in Bengaluru. The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.”
According to media reports, the police suspect that this may be a well-planned murder and his wife has been detained in this case. In the initial investigation, the police said that his death does not seem natural and the circumstances are suspicious.
The police is closely investigating the entire case. The Bangalore City Police says that the exact cause of the incident is not yet known. The body has been sent to the hospital for post -mortem and the report is waiting for the cause of death to be confirmed.
