Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will communicate with the selected talented future scientists for the 17th “Vigyan Manthan Yatra” of the Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council. The program will be organized at 7 pm at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will honor the future scientists going on the journey. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also flag off Vigyan Manthan Yatra in the program. On this occasion, prestigious scientists of scientific institutions will be present.
The 17th Vigyan Manthan Yatra will be held from 21 to 27 April. Selected participants in the scheme will get an opportunity to meet the country’s prestigious efforts and dedicated scientists. After the journey, there will be an opportunity to participate in the scholarship examination conducted by the council. Scholarship of Rs 12 thousand per year will be provided to 20 selected students of each class who are successful in the examination. A total of 375 students of the entire state have been selected in class 10th to 12th science subject this year for the yatra. In the selection process, 75 participants have been selected from each zone by dividing the state into 5 different zones (East, West, North, South and Central).
According to the project in -charge Dr. Vivek Katare, these participants have been selected online applications through transparent process at the state level. He informed that 49 girls and 76 students of class 10th, 54 students of class 11 and 71 students and 48 students of class 12th and 77 students have been selected. 33 teachers of the state’s science subject have also been selected for the useful guidance of these students. On Monday, all the selected students from across the state will be present at the headquarters of Technology Council at 9.00 am. This year, the total selected 375 students have been divided into 02 separate groups, one of which will visit Chandigarh and the other groups will visit the institutions in Delhi. Students going to Delhi will visit the National Science Center, National Institute of Plant Genomic Research, Indian Agriculture Research Institute, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Delhi Institutions. Students of the group going to Chandigarh, Central Scientific Institutes Organization, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Punjab State Council of Science and Technology, National Institute of Formity of Formatical Education and Research, Government Museum and Art Gallery Institutions will be installed and scientific.
Project in -charge Dr. Katare said that the group going to Chandigarh has been named “CV Raman Group” and the group going to Delhi is named “APJ Abdul Kalam Group”. The “CV Raman Group” will have class 11th and 12th and “APJ Abdul Kalam Group” students of 10th. Both groups will leave for Delhi on Tuesday, 22 April from Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal by Vande Bharat train. On reaching Delhi, a grand reception of all these future scientists of the state will be done in a program organized by Vigyan Bharati.
Mission Excellence has been organized by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology to find future scientists of the state and create trends towards science education in school students. In the program, a team of students selected from the state will be introduced to the world of practical science apart from book knowledge. Today, all of us’s advanced lifestyle is based on new inventions of science. The environment that is created by the new research work behind these inventions and the interaction of our diligent scientists, dedicated laboratories, etc., provides the commitment to make the students’ minds to make a career as a dedicated scientist along with patriotism. The main objective of the Vigyan Manthan Yatra is to identify talented students who have interest in science and encourage them to move forward in the selected field. Through this program to be run in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, the selected students are being trained and their scientific talent is being done and further work is being done through research and development.
