People are suffering due to heat in the state. On Friday, the mercury in many districts reached 44 degrees Celsius. Khajuraho, Guna and Naugaon were the hottest. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain the same till the next days.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather across the state will be dry from Saturday for the next three days. Mercury is expected to increase by about 2 to 3 degrees. The Meteorological Department has predicted the heat wave running for 15 to 20 days from May. In April-May, hot air can blow from 30 to 35 days.

From April 19, the increase in the mercury of the day will continue. There will also be a feeling of heat in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior. The daytime temperature in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain-Gwalior can be 40 degrees or more on 20 April. The mercury will be around 25 degrees at night. The effect of heat can also be seen in other cities. On April 21, hot winds can blow during the day. The effect of which will be seen in the districts associated with Rajasthan. Mercury will also increase in Bhopal, Indore-Ujjain. On April 22, there can be some relief from the scorching heat. The mercury is expected to fall by 2 to 3 degrees due to cold air.

Talking about the minimum temperature, the mercury was recorded in Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram), the lowest 20.2 degree, Kalyanpur (Shahdol)/Narsinghpur was 22.2 degrees, Devra (Singrauli) 22.3 degrees, Chhindwara was recorded at 22.6 degrees and Mandla was recorded at 22.8 degrees.
