Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla reached Datia on a short stay. He reached Pitambara Peeth and saw mother Baglamukhi. Also anointed Vankhandeshwar Mahadev located in the back premises. Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla said that monitoring will be done to prevent arson and other incidents in the district hospital. Strict action will be taken when a case like Damoh Hospital comes up, so that no one can dare to do wrong things. The process of opening a medical college is going on in all the districts. This year, medical colleges will start two places. 12 places have been tendered for the state, medical colleges will be opened in future in the remaining districts. The government is also making efforts to get patients in hospitals to get tele medicine facility.

Talking to the media, Shukla said that strict monitoring will be done to prevent incidents like arson in district hospitals. Strict action will be taken on incidents like Damoh. He informed that there is a plan to open medical colleges in all the districts of the state. Two new medical colleges will start this year. Tender process has been completed at 12 places. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government is trying to provide telemedicine facility to patients.

Rajendra Shukla reached Datia from Mahakaushal Express at around 4.30 am. After visiting Pitambara Peeth at 6 am, he left for Gwalior. There is a meeting of his local program in Gwalior and a meeting with the district administration at the medical college.
