Stars of Chhattisgarh shine in Nepal: Four promising youth of Kabirdham waved India

Four promising players of Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh have waved Chhattisgarh and the country by performing strongly in the international bodybuilding and weightlifting competition held in Pokhara city of Nepal. More than 300 players from seven countries including India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar participated in this competition organized by the International Joint Indian Sports Association. From India, Suraj Rajput, Deepali Soni, Abhishek Tiwari and Anurag Jangde from Kawardha in Chhattisgarh won gold medals by participating in this prestigious competition.

It may be noted that in the bodybuilding competition, Suraj Rajput of Kabirdham won the title of International Mr. Overall, leaving behind the participants of seven countries. Suraj has also won medals in Mr. Chhattisgarh, Senior National Bodybuilding Championship and Powerlifting in the past. Currently, he is playing the role of coach in Kawardha’s “Bharat Health Club” and providing free training to about 50 youth. Deepali Soni, who became the first female gold winner of the district, won the 76 kg category. She has also performed brilliantly in national and state level competitions earlier. Abhishek Tiwari of the sub-junior category won the gold medal in the men’s 67 kg category. Prior to this, the school has also won medals in the National Games. 14-year-old Anurag Jangde, who won a gold medal in sub-junior weightlifting in the 109 kg category, has also topped the district and school level competitions earlier.

It is worth noting that the credit for training these four players also goes to Suraj Rajput, who has been preparing the youth of the district internationally by giving free training in dedication for years. Suraj Rajput expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Sports Minister Tank Ram Verma for his success and team’s achievements and said that this achievement will be an inspiration for every youth of the state as well as the district. He informed that international competition will be held in Dubai in the coming time, which he will also prepare with full devotion from Kawardha. This demonstration by players on Nepal land is a matter of pride not only for Chhattisgarh but for the whole country.

Body Builder Suraj Rajput –
In the world of bodybuilding, Suraj Rajput’s name is not an introduction. In the International competition of Nepal, he won the title of International Mr. Overall, beating the fasting of seven countries. Suraj Rajput said that this victory is not just mine but of the whole of Chhattisgarh. It is not easy to get out of the small town and reach the international platform, but if there is passion in the mind and guidance is correct, then no floor is far away. Suraj is giving free training to about 50 players as a coach in Suraj ‘Bharat Health Club’. He has also won medals in Mr. Chhattisgarh, Senior National and Powerlifting Competitions.

Weightlifter Deepali Soni
Deepali Soni of Kabirdham district, who won the gold medal in the 76 kg category, has become the first female weightlifter of Kabirdham. Who created history by winning medals internationally. Deepali Soni shares her experience and says that the journey to Nepal was very inspiring for me. For the first time, playing abroad and waving the tricolor was a dream, which was fulfilled. I am happy that now other daughters of the district will also take inspiration to move forward in sports like weightlifting. ” Deepali has also won medals in national and state level competitions earlier.

Weightlifter Abhishek Tiwar
Abhishek Tiwari presented a brilliant example of his hard work by winning the gold medal in the 67 kg sub-category weightlifting category. Abhishek Tiwari says that when the medal came around my neck, I remembered my parents, Guruji and the hard work of the entire district. Living in Nepal, the players and atmosphere there were all new, but we had pledged to keep the flag of India high.
Weightlifter Anurag Jangde

Anurag Jangde, who won gold in sub-junior weightlifting in the 109 kg category at the age of just 14, caught everyone’s attention. Anurag Jangde, expressing happiness to the achievements of his career in his first foreign trip, said that “I am very happy that the gold medal was won for the country at such a young age. All this was possible because of my coach Suraj Sir, who prepared us with selflessly day and night.” Can not say in words in the joy of waving the national flag abroad.
