Vulture conservation is getting new direction in Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that new dimensions are being added to wildlife tourism in Madhya Pradesh. Protection of vultures that play a very important role in the ecosystem is necessary not only to protect biodiversity, but also mandatory in terms of maintaining environmental balance. Vulture conservation is also being given a new direction in the state. 6 vultures were released in a natural environment for the first time on Wednesday from the Kerava Vulture Breeding Center in Bhopal.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said on social media X that the state government has made constant efforts to conserve the threatened species of animal birds including vultures. He was patronized and promoted in the Koono sanctuary by bringing cheetahs from the countries of South Africa under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to rehabilitate the disappearance from Asia. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that GPS trackers have been installed on the vultures released in the natural environment, so that the continuous monitoring of their traffic, behavior and safety can be ensured.
