Mamta government believed that Hindus were deliberately targeted in Murshidabad

Kolkata

There are only two major issues in the country at this time, the first is the violence in West Bengal in the name of Waqf law and the second is the legal battle in the Supreme Court on Waqf. We will first talk about anti -Hindu violence in Murshidabad. The miscreants had deliberately targeted Hindus, and this is not the case of the West Bengal government.

The West Bengal government has told in the Kolkata High Court that Hindus were targeted by a frenzied crowd in Murshidabad. There was tremendous violence in Murshidabad on 8, 11 and 12 April against the Waqf law, and what happened in these three days-the report has been told in the report.

What is in the West Bengal government report?

1. Referring to April 8, the report said that on this day, a crowd of 8 to 10 thousand people gathered in Jangipura. Here some organizations were going to perform peaceful protests against the Waqf law, but later these people blocked the highway there. When the police asked them to withdraw, the crowd became furious and they started the attack. According to the report, the attackers were deadly weapons in the hands of the mob and these people wanted to kill the policemen.

2. The violence on April 11 has been told that after the prayers of Jumme, an attempt was made to jam the highway. About 2000 numbers of Muslim mob blocked the road and these people were shouting inflammatory slogans. When the police tried to stop them, the mob started throwing stones at them. Later, the mob started vandalizing shops and houses nearby. The miscreants also broke CCTV cameras to hide their identity.

3. Referring to the violence on April 12, the report stated that a mob gathered near a mosque in Shamsher Ganj. After this, this mob started vandalizing the houses of the Hindu families there and they were also stoned when the police stopped.

4. The report has also approved that an attempt was made to gather and incite people through social media. The cybercrime wing of the Bengal Police has prepared a list of more than 1500 social media users, which is suspected of provoking the crowd, and it includes Facebook, X, YouTube, and Instagram users.

Murshidabad violence has now become an issue, whose suffering state government is not visible but has become a deadly weapon for the opposition. The Mamta government is not taking care of the Hindu families suffering violence, and the Bengal BJP has taken advantage of this.

West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar reached to meet Governor CV Anand Bose with some victims. These Hindu families told stories of atrocities with them during the disturbance and they have demanded that BSF camp should be set up in their area, so that they can feel safe. After the violence, the Governor of Bengal has now said to go to Murshidabad to take stock of the situation. He has said that he himself wants to see how large the miscreants have committed violence and what is the condition of the victims there.

PFI claims to be active in Murshidabad

BJP leader Sukanta Majumdar has made a big claim on the Murshidabad violence. They are alleged that the violence in Murshidabad was a well -planned violence, in which the loudspeakers of religious sites were encouraged for violence. He has also accused the banned organization PFI for this violence and says that PFI has been active in Murshidabad for a long time and violence was planned at his own behest.

The West Bengal Police has so far registered 60 FIRs for this violence, and about 315 people have been arrested. The state government has also formed an SIT of 11 members to investigate the matter, and in the action taken by the police so far, their great achievement is that the police have also arrested the killers of Govind and Chandan Das killed in Jafarabad.

According to the police, the situation in Murshidabad is normal at the moment and the families who have gone away are gradually returning to their homes, but are the situation really what the police are saying? The truth is that even 6 days of nuisance, Hindus have not returned home. Hindu families who left their homes out of fear of miscreants are living like refugees in different places.

Team also reached Jafarabad, talk to the victim’s family

A refugee in Jafarabad had reached the camp, where a large number of victims of Hindu families were living. We heard the tragedy of the victims, whose houses were burnt by the miscreants. People present here have demanded deployment of BSF in the entire district. The victims have claimed that most of the local people were involved in the miscreants.

The Mamta government has not met the victims, but has announced compensation, but does the compensation amount cause ointment on the wounds of the victims? The answer to this question should be asked by the family of Govind and Chandan Das, who was killed in Murshidabad violence, who has refused to take the amount of compensation and they just want justice.
