Bengal HC strict instructions to the government- Stop inflammatory speeches by deploying Central Forces

The Calcutta High Court (HC), while giving strict instructions, has said that the deployment of central forces in Murshidabad district of West Bengal (Bengal) will continue to be deployed.

The court said on Thursday that the forces should be stationed. Apart from this, there is also a need for control over provocative speeches. The court said that inflammatory speeches should not be given during the demonstrations against the Waqf Amendment Act, which lead to the possibility of violence. In this way, the High Court has given strict advice to the state government in cases of violence.

Apart from this, the court has admitted that the situation in Murshidabad district is not normal. Therefore, the deployment of central forces should remain to maintain law and order. There was a large -scale violence during the protest against the Waqf Act in Murshidabad. Many people were killed in this incident, while hundreds of families have had to migrate. About two hundred and fifty families have migrated to the neighborhood’s Malda district and are forced to pass in camps there.
