There are a total of 4523 primary agricultural credit cooperative societies in Madhya Pradesh. With these committees, farmers are given a cooperative bank loan for fertilizer, seeds and other agricultural works. The special thing is that this agricultural loan is of zero percent interest rate, that is, farmers get a loan without interest, but if the farmers become defaulters, then interest starts. Due to the high interest amount, the farmer gets upset. Farmers who do not repay the loan within the stipulated period, the committees collect the penal interest along with the Aadhaar rate.
