Bulldozers have run at the illegal dargah of Nashik. This morning, the administration drove the bulldozer and made the illegal parts of the dardgah land. During the action, the district administration had deployed a large number of policemen. During this time the roads leading to the dargah were sealed.
Police have been deployed on the three sides around the dargah and no outsider or vehicle was allowed inside. The road was barricaded by placing a police van. The Dargah Committee says that this dargah of Pir Baba is 350 years old. At the same time, the gross Hindu society has demanded to demolish it and build a Hanuman temple here.

At the time when there was a ruckus, the number of crowd was more than 400 and 500 policemen were deployed at night.
Police used tear gas to control the crowd. After which the crowd dispersed. It is being told that after the notice of the municipal corporation, a team had reached to remove the illegal construction at the dargah. Meanwhile, the rumor spread that the dargah is being demolished. At this the crowd became furious and threw stones. 31 policemen, including 2 Assistant Police Commissioner, were injured in the incident of stone pelting by the mob. The police have detained 15 of the stoning crowd.
What is the whole matter?
The Municipal Corporation had issued a notice to Satpir Dargah in Nashik’s Katha Gali signal area. The corporation had talked about taking action on removing encroachments within 15 days. The notice states that Satpir Dargah is unauthorized as per the Supreme Court order. This notice was imposed on the wall of the dargah by the corporation. Even after this, the Muslim letter is not ready to accept the letter.
Petition was filed in Bombay High Court
A petition was filed in the Bombay High Court by the Satpir Dargah Trust. During the hearing, the court found that the dargah was unauthorized. After this, the Municipal Corporation issued a notice and directed to remove all unauthorized construction within 15 days.
