Higher Education Department has made necessary changes in the course of UG first year (BCom, BA, BSC, BBA etc.). From the upcoming 2025-26 new academic session, students will now have to give 10 papers instead of the earlier 9 papers. This change (order of Higher Education Department) has been implemented with the aim of imparting more diverse education to students, so that they can acquire better knowledge in different fields.
Vacational and value added subjects
In addition, a new value added subject has been added. This will be mandatory and students will have to take it with their degrees. Value added subjects will help increase the professional skills of students, so that they will be able to prepare for employment opportunities. This change will also prove to be important for the career development of students.
Multi-disciplinary subject starts
Let us know that, the open elective subject will now be called multi-disciplinary subject. Such subjects have been added to it which will teach students with different views. These include subjects like Under Standing India, Digital and Technological Solutions and Health and Yoga Education. Students will be required to select one of these subjects every year, so that they can get multidiminals.

This (Decision of Higher Education Department) new system is being implemented with the objective of preparing students from business and social personal. Through this, students will be given modern education, which will promote not only subject -based knowledge but also commercial abilities.
