The violence on the Waqf law in Bengal is not taking the name of stopping. In the latest incident, supporters of the Indian Secular Front clashed with the police. The clash occurred when the police tried to prevent ISF supporters from going to the rally of party leader and Bhangar MLA Naushad Siddiqui. Naushad Siddiqui’s rally took place at Ramlila Maidan in Kolkata. Police say that the police was not allowed for this rally.

How erupted violence

Police said ISF supporters were stopped near Bhojarhat on the Basanti highway in South 24 Parganas. A large number of ISF supporters from Meenakhan and Sandakhali also gathered here.
