Saudi Arabia has started preparations for this year Haj. As part of the preparation of Hajj, the Saudi Home Ministry has issued new rules for Hajis. In such a situation, dates have been fixed for those who perform Umrah before Haj. The ministry has declared entry and exit dates in Mecca. For Umrah, Umrah, who is Umrahs till April 13, can take entry in Saudi Arabia, they will have to return by 29 April. At the same time, strict rules for entry will be applicable in Mecca from April 23, 2025 and those who go without permits will be sent back.

In its statement issued by Saudi Arabia’s Home Minister, it has said that some new rules have been made for Haj 2025, which aim to make Haj pilgrimage safe. The ministry has said that the people who come to Umrah will have to go back by April 29, if no one goes back, action will be taken considering it as a violation of the rules. This is being done so that the authority of Mecca can get the entire time for preparation before the arrival of Hajis.

Monitoring of those coming to maize will increase

The Saudi government has said that a strict monitoring will be started from April 23 in Mecca. To enter Mecca, it will be necessary to show a permit to work, maize identity card or Hajj permit. Apart from these, no one will get entry. Foreign nationals living in Saudi Arabia, who do not live in Mecca, will also have to take permits to come to Mecca. These rules have been made to prevent foreigners who came on tourist visa or people from other parts of the country from joining the Haj without registration.

The Saudi ministry has stated that those who do not have Haj visas will not be allowed to come or live in Mecca from April 29. Foreign citizens who want to go to maize or surrounding areas for work must apply online for permits. The ministry has said that all the documents should come with Mecca to avoid inconvenience. Those entering without permits will be sent back from Al Sumassi or other checkpoints.
